Sustainability at the heart of what they do
Sustainability is at the heart of Horizonteer’s mission. Both in how they help clients and in how they operate themselves. The team consciously minimizes its own footprint by using public transport, shared cars, and bicycles, printing as little as possible, and furnishing the office with circular materials.
The people behind Horizonteer are deeply motivated by the desire to make a positive impact. They see their work not only as a job but as a way to contribute to a more sustainable world; finding happiness and fulfillment in creating meaningful change.
Horizonteer believes that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand. Together with their clients, they inspire to make more sustainable and conscious choices, using their creativity, strategic insight, and innovation expertise to make that shift possible.
Continuous learning is a cornerstone of the company’s culture. Every other Friday is dedicated entirely to training, while “on-the-job” learning is woven into daily projects. In total, around 20% of their time is invested in personal and professional growth, ensuring that the team keeps evolving alongside the challenges they tackle.
Horizonteer as part of the Circular Plastics Alliance
As an active member of the Circular Plastics Alliance, Horizonteer contributes to the transition toward a fully circular economy. By collaborating with a network of partners, they co-develop new circular products and services that combine design thinking, strategy, and systems innovation.
Most companies are technically and operationally strong in their core business, but when it comes to developing new ideas, sustainable models, or circular ventures, many don’t know where to start. Horizonteer bridges that gap: they guide organizations through innovation projects that turn sustainability ambitions into real-world results, making them a valuable partner within the Circular Plastics Alliance.
Together with Circular Plastics, Horizonteer also launched the Circular Plastics Academy, a program designed to help businesses implement change toward circular systems. Enabling learning, experimentation, and transformation.
