DW Reusables joins Circular Plastics Alliance

Circular Plastics Alliance welcomes DW Reusables as a new member. The company, a pioneer in reusable packaging such as beer crates, is committed to a circular economy and recently received the Limburg Climate Award. With projects like a reusable six-pack and their commitment to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), DW Reusables demonstrates its dedication to sustainability. This year, reduction targets for Scope 1, 2, and 3 will be set to drastically reduce CO2 emissions by 2030.

DW Reusables operates within a closed-loop system where used beverage crates are recycled into new products after dozens of cycles. Production scrap is also reused, while traditional waste streams are actively reduced. The company sends no waste to landfill, highlighting its strong sustainability focus.

Within the Circular Plastics Alliance, DW Reusables aims to showcase the added value of reusable packaging and contribute to innovative packaging solutions such as the FECT box. Their expertise and best practices in circular processes help other members operate more efficiently and environmentally friendly. By collaborating and sharing knowledge, they create a collective impact and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future. This benefits not only the members but the entire supply chain.
