Novacel is a global leader in protective films who will to take a bold leap toward circularity. Novacel’s films are used worldwide to protect everything from stainless steel to plastic sheets, millions of square meters of material every year. But what happens after these films have done their job?

Together, we’re rolling out pilot programs across Europe to collect and recycle used protection films. Instead of letting these materials go to waste, we’re turning them into high-quality raw materials for new products, starting with Novacel’s own OXYGEN film line which already consists of recycled content, but not yet from their own used films.

We’re not just testing theories, we’re getting our hands dirty with real-world trials, turning plastic waste into usable products again, and collaborating with Novacel’s customers and end-users like Duotank and MCB to build a closed-loop system that works at scale.
