Participation in the Circular Plastics Alliance
Together with the Circular Plastics Alliance, Bunzl aims to make their KPP® bread bags circular in the short term. This is one of their largest product categories. They deliver millions of bread bags annually to various bakeries for supermarket chains, totaling millions of kilograms of film. Over the years, the film thickness has already been reduced by thirty percent, but they strive to contribute further to improving the environment.
In addition, they also aim to make their e-commerce packaging circular (reusable) in collaboration with the Circular Plastics Alliance. The e-commerce sector has experienced significant growth in recent years, and Bunzl intends to take larger and faster steps to minimize its impact on the environment
